The only negative is that this is an old area of marseille where the multi-story houses are on very narrow streets so when the popular motor bike races through between the buildings down a long straight path where they race the engines making a lot of noise. my 14 year old was not able to hear anything but several times during the night and early morning i heard them. however, this is the best place to see old marseille and live more like the native marseille resident. i highly recommend it as a choice. and our young lady hosts were very welcoming. I had an amazing time at the claire's home. the house was very nice and clean, the room is cozy, the kitchen is big, and the shower is very relaxing. the house located in the heart of panier, one of the most beautiful districts of marseille, where there are lanes and fantastic views and where you can socialize with native marseille resident. claire is a sunny and nice girl who helped me to discover marseille. i highly recommend it as a choice!
