I'm a writer and editor, and I'm happy to help with ESL homework questions. We live in a safe, family neighbourhood. My guests tell me that they enjoy the quiet, peaceful atmosphere in the home. Household consists of the homestay mum and one to three female students at a time, each with her own room. House contains friendly cat.

A quiet, friendly house where you cook your own meals anytime. I'm a children's writer (feemale) with one daughter away at university. I rent three rooms, and I have two booked, an Algonquin college student and an Algonquin graduate. We are looking for one more quiet female student to join our household.

Enjoy full use of:
- your own furnished bedroom with lock and key, including bedding, desk with keyboard tray, desk lamp and floor lamp, large cable TV, radio, mirror, bookcase and dresser. and a large closet with sturdy shelf and hangers
- fully equipped kitchen with a small table, second refrigerator in the basement
- dining room with a large table for dinners or studying
- living room with a comfy couch beside the air conditioner
- two bathrooms
- basement with a laundry room (washer, dryer, sink and clothesline)
- fenced back yard with patio table and chairs and a clothesline

- One-minute walk to the bus stop
- Take the #40 express bus to downtown or to Ottawa University, or get off at Greenboro for the O-train to Carleton University, or get off at Billings Bridge and take the 118 to Algonquin College

Cost:
- Rent includes heat (natural gas heat kept at 21 Celsius), electricity, cable TV, wireless Internet, plus amenities like dish soap, garbage bags etc.
- The last month's rent is required to hold the room, and is credited to the last month of your stay with 60 day's notice
