Minshuku Sosuke is a delightful 13-room minshuku about 8 minutes' walk from Takayama station. The location offers quick and easy access to all main local places of interest. The building is 170 years old, the interior has been renovated. In the lounge there is an old fire place with a hearth called an irori. We regret we do not accept credit cards or travellers' checks; however,travellers' checks can be cashed at the Green Hotel opposite Minsyuku Sosuke. Check in : 3p.m. Check out : 10a.m. Door closes at 11p.m. MEALS: We use local vegetables and meat from area in the Hida region. including Takayama Meal reservation are accepted until 1 day before your check-in day. These dishes may be slightly changed depending on the season.
