Homestay

A homestay room is a furnished bedroom, located in the house or the apartment of the owner/tenant. Homestay is a living arrangement offered by a host or host family that involves staying in their furnished, private, shared room, house, apartment, or suite. The guest of a homestay would be staying in home like accommodation with shared living spaces, facilities and amenities. Utilities and meals are usually included in the asked monthly, weekly or daily rate, or limited unless specified otherwise by the homestay host. Homestay is most commonly used by foreign exchange students and scholars. Today, a homestay offers temporary home accommodation to extended stay guests, including relocation professionals, athletes, students, interns, and scholars.
