Enjoy beautiful Amsterdam from your own cosy and comfortable apartment on a very central and quiet location. The apartment is for 2 persons. It is fully independent: it has it‘s own access and own private bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. This means you will have complete privacy. The small but characteristic apartment is based on the third floor of a typical Amsterdam house (anno 1882).

Itinéraire
HOW TO GET THERE: Public transport: from Schiphol Airport you take the train to Amsterdam Central Station, which will take you about 15 minutes. From there you take tram 17 and get off at stop ‘Elandsgracht’ (5-10 minutes). From there it is a 1 minute walk to the apartment. You cross the bridge towards the crossing with the traffic lights and turn left (Nassaukade) and take the first street right (look for a huge mural of a naked woman). This is the Jacob van Lennepstraat. Look for nr. 14 and ring the doorbel at the lefthand door. By car: coming from the A10 Ring you'll take exit 106 in the direction 'Overtoomse veld'. Go straight ahead untill the second traffic lights. Here you keep right following direction 'Centrum'. You'll cross a bridge. At the next traffic lights you turn left. You are now on the 'Overtoom'. You go straight ahead all the way untill the end of the Overtoom. At the end you turn left. The 7th street left is the 'Jacob van Lennepstraat'. On the left hand corner you'll see a huge mural of a naked woman. Look for nr. 14 and ring the doorbel at the lefthand door. Please be aware that there is a 'Jacob van Lennepkade' as well. This is the street before the Jacob van Lennepstraat coming from the Overtoom. Parking: The Jacob van Lennepstraat is just one block outside the city centre which means the parking tickets are cheaper as in the centre and Sudays it is free parking. For all other days the rate is 2,10 euro's per hour. It is possible to buy a 24-hour ticket for 18,90 euro. A daycard (9am - 7 pm) costs 12,60 euro. An eveningcard (7pm - 12pm) 8,40 euro. Please be aware that it is only possible to pay with coins. Another good parking possibility !!! is to park your car just outside of the city in a guarded car park for 6 euro for 24 hours including 2 free public transport return tickets or a free bike. The government promotes this in order to get less cars parked in the city. It is called 'Park & Ride'. The nearest 'Park & Ride' car parks are at Stadionplein and Sloterdijk. You can read all about this at: www.bereikbaaramsterdam.nl (click on 'English site' and than on 'Park and Ride'). On this website you find as well information about all other parking facilities in Amsterdam, public transport, a route planner, up to date information about road works etc. A very practical site.
