Our home is situated at the foot of the Cashnere hills with a lovely view of the hills where you can walk and tramp. We have a paddock with animals and lots of birds at the back of our home, and park for children across the road, We have been hosting students for the past 10 years from Japan, Malaysia and China,the last stayed for 4 years. We are very willing to take our homestay on day trips around our beautiful countryside.Both Alan and I do work full time so would not be home between 7.30am and 4.30pm Mon-Friday. You will have a lovely warm room, heater, internet access, tv, electric blanket and study desk, all meals provided. We have a garden and fruit trees at the back of the house. Poppy is our lovely persian cat. I have said we can not pick up from the airport but of course should you arrive or leave outside business hours of course we would be very willing to transport you. If you enjoy staying with us and wish to stay longer than the year this will be okay.

Very close to buses to central business district as well as the college of education and university of canterbury.
