The RED ROOM has a queen size bed and sleeps two, and so does the BLUE ROOM. Both rooms have their private bathrooms (The BLUE ROOM has a claw feet bathtub while the RED ROOM has a shower only).
The Living room and the upstairs guest kitchen are shared with the other guests. It is fully functional, modern, all stainless steel. Dishwasher, microwave, oven.
The kitchen is on the third floor of the house, the three bedrooms are on between the second and the first floor, (the Blue and the Purple Room on the second floor and the Red Room on the first).

Our home is relaxed and the atmosphere is very laid back. We, the owners, live on the premises but we have our own kitchen and our own private spaces, so we are always available when we are needed and present to our guests as much or as little as it is comfortable for everybody.
Note: Guests must be cat lovers, however no cats or dogs are allowed (we already have cats, which you are welcome to spoil and visit with).
PLEASE: IF YOU ARE EVEN SLIGHTLY ALLERGIC TO PETS, THIS HOUSE IS UNFORTUNATELY NOT FOR YOU. EVEN THOUGH CATS ARE KEPT AWAY AS A GENRAL RULE FROM GUESTS ROOMS THEY ARE FREE TO GO AROUND THE HOUSE AND MIGHT HAVE BEEN IN YOUR ROOM WITH OTHER GUESTS BEFORE).
We are in New York! And Brooklyn is the new hip place of the city, with plenty of culture and shopping during the day and an exciting night life: restaurants, bars, clubs, cinemas, theaters, museums, art galleries, the Brooklyn Academy of Music with a full program of events 365 days a year, Prospect Park -a fantastic park-, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the Brooklyn Museum of Arts and so many different neighborhoods to explore.
Our neighborhood is called Bedford Stuyvesant: historically African American, Caribbean, and African, in the past few years it is becoming the new mecca for writers and artists of all ethnic backgrounds. There is plenty of music here, and ethnic restaurants, nouvelle cuisine, coffee shops, and wine bars.
Notable Brooklyn neighborhoods reachable in a few minutes via bus, subway or walking along the lovely tree lined streets flanked by historical brownstones are Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, and Brooklyn Heights, neighborhoods by the rich day and night life. The Brooklyn Bridge is ten minutes away on the subway.
From the bustling Fulton Avenue, just a block away from our street, you can take a bus to the artsy neighborhood of Williamsburg.
The subway is only one stop away from our home (the blue line, train C). Manhattan is twenty minutes away (Soho, the West village, the East Village, the lower East Side and Chinatown).
Bedford Stuyvesant is close to both JFK airport and LaGuardia airport (less than thirty minutes by car, and JFK is 45 minutes by subway) and the Long Island Railroad, which gives you quick access to Long Island.
And Coney Island, our closest beach, is a half hour away on the subway.
